Candidates eager to throw their hats into the ring have until April 25th to file their nominations. The scrutiny of these nominations will take place on April 26th, and candidates can withdraw until April 29th. Mark your calendars for May 13th, when polling will be conducted across all 175 Assembly and 25 Lok Sabha constituencies in the state. The results will be declared on June 4th, deciding who will take the reins of power.
As the deadline approaches, all political parties are on their toes. Chief Minister and YSR Congress leader Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy plans to file his papers on the last day in Pulivendula. Meanwhile, Telugu Desam Party leader and opposition chief Chandrababu Naidu, along with Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan, will also submit their nominations on the same day. Today, Pawan Kalyan is busy distributing B Forms to all his party candidates at the party headquarters in Mangalagiri. Later this afternoon, he’s scheduled to meet all the candidates to review past election campaigns and provide further guidance.
