Today, the Andhra Pradesh Assembly sessions began with Governor S. Abdul Nazeer addressing both houses. YSRCP leaders disrupted the Governor's speech with chants of "End murder politics... Save democracy."
Before heading to the Assembly, former CM Jagan and YSRCP leaders attempted to visit the Assembly wearing black scarves as a sign of protest. This came after CM Chandrababu and TDP leaders garlanded the NTR statue in Venkatapalem. Police intervened and stopped YSRCP leaders, leading to a heated argument between Jagan and the police. Jagan expressed his anger at the police's actions.
During these sessions, the government plans to present white papers on law and order, industries, and the state's financial situation. Meanwhile, YSRCP has decided to protest in Delhi on Wednesday, citing deteriorating law and order in Andhra Pradesh. Jagan has directed YSRCP MLAs, MLCs, and MPs to go to Delhi on Tuesday, suggesting they might not attend the Assembly sessions from then on. Consequently, they may miss the Governor's thanksgiving ceremony. This afternoon, a TDP LP meeting is scheduled.
