TL;DR:Ā Bird flu is spreading in Andhra Pradesh, affecting several districts and leading to the death of many chickens. The government is taking steps like setting up containment zones and culling infected birds to control the situation.

Hey folks! Big news coming in from Andhra Pradesh. Bird flu, also known as avian influenza, is making rounds in our state, hitting places like Eluru, NTR, West Godavari, and more. Sadly, around 5.20 lakh chickens have died because of this. To tackle this, the government has declared five containment zones and has already culled about 1.50 lakh birds to stop the virus from spreading.

The virus has been spotted in a duck farm in Kurnool and several poultry farms in East Godavari, NTR, West Godavari, and Eluru districts. This has led to strict monitoring and control measures. Officials are urging everyone to stay alert and follow guidelines to keep the situation under control.

There were some rumors about humans getting infected in Eluru district, but officials have cleared the air, saying there's no human case of bird flu. West Godavari district collector Vetri Selvi has asked everyone to stay calm and not believe in such unverified news.

Animal husbandry director T Damodar Naidu mentioned that culling operations are in full swing to prevent the virus from spreading. However, there's a concern about the disposal of dead birds. Some people are reportedly dumping dead chickens in fish tanks, which is a big no-no. Authorities are looking into this to ensure proper disposal methods are followed.

The government is also running awareness campaigns to educate people about safe poultry handling and the importance of following official guidelines. It's crucial for everyone to stay informed and cooperate with the authorities during this time.

In times like these, it's essential to remember that the health and safety of the working class should be a top priority. The government must ensure that preventive measures are in place to protect both the poultry industry and the livelihoods of those who depend on it. It's a collective responsibility to stay vigilant and support each other to overcome this challenge.
