The aunt engages in intercourse with the groom to ascertain his capability and only if he passes this peculiar test, the wedding proceeds. Failing the test leads to the cancellation of the marriage. Additionally, there’s a tradition where the aunt explains certain aspects of sex to the bride, preparing her for married life.
During the first night, the aunt or mother-in-law accompanies the newlyweds, offering various suggestions to the couple. To this day, members of this tribe continue to practice these unusual traditions.
