The two-day National Council meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party kicked off in Delhi on Saturday. Prime Minister Modi addressed the meeting of party office bearers on the first day of the meeting. He called for BJP to win at least 370 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Prime Minister Modi has called for the BJP to win 370 Lok Sabha seats in the Lok Sabha elections to be held in the next three months. He said that it will be a great tribute to the sacrifice made by the late leader Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. He said that this will be a true tribute to Shyama Prasad Mukherjee who campaigned till the end of his life for the cancellation of Article 370 which gave independence to Jammu and Kashmir.
The BJP National Council meetings will be held in Delhi for two days from Saturday. On the first day, Prime Minister Modi addressed the office bearers of the party. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee led the movement to abrogate Article 370 which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir. Article 370 was repealed by an Act of Parliament in 2019. The abrogation of Article 370 is at the top of the list of achievements of the BJP government," he said. Abrogation of Article 370 has been BJP's electoral promise for the past few decades. Prime Minister Modi asked the BJP members to frame the party's Lok Sabha campaign mainly on the issues of pro-poor works, national development, increased international prestige, etc.
The prime minister directed the cadre to ensure that at least 370 votes are deposited in the BJP's account in each booth. All the activists are advised to go to the voters and explain the difference between India before 2014 and India today. Party National General Secretary Vinod Tawde explained to the media the details of Prime Minister Modi's address to the office bearers at the BJP National Council meetings.
