In a heated protest at Gun Park, BRS MLAs and MLCs were arrested by the police. They gathered to oppose the job calendar presented by the Congress government and the recent remarks made by MLA Danam Nagender.
BRS members accused the government of deceiving unemployed youth by not announcing the number of jobs in the calendar. The situation intensified, leading to their arrest.
Earlier in the Assembly, BRS MLAs issued a breach of privilege notice against CM Revanth, accusing him of misleading the House on the issue of electricity meters and making derogatory comments about women MLAs.
Afterward, BRS leaders protested near Gun Park, alleging that the Congress government was cheating the unemployed by not disclosing job numbers. As tensions rose, police took control and transported the protesting BRS leaders away from the Amarula Stupam monument.
