TL;DR: At his Bengaluru concert, Ed Sheeran surprised fans by singing the Telugu song 'Chuttamalle' from the movie 'Devara' alongside Indian singer Shilpa Rao. This unexpected performance showcased the universal language of music and received praise from fans and the film's stars, Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor.

Hey folks! Guess what? 🎉 Our very own 'Shape of You' star, Ed Sheeran, just gave us a massive surprise in Bengaluru! He teamed up with the fab Indian singer Shilpa Rao to belt out 'Chuttamalle' from the flick 'Devara'. Can you believe it? A Brit singing in Telugu! Talk about #GlobalVibes!

During his Bengaluru gig, Ed invited Shilpa on stage, and together, they jammed to 'Chuttamalle'. Ed even nailed the Telugu lyrics while strumming his guitar. He later gushed on Instagram, "Obsessed with @shilparao’s voice for the last while, a real privilege to share the stage tonight, and learn a new language!"

Fans went wild! One said, "So much effort he’s putting in all the languages he’s singing in, in India! How beautiful is that!" Another chimed in, "Ed's efforts throughout the tour to learn and respect the culture is literally incredible."

The stars of 'Devara', Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, were over the moon. Janhvi shared the performance on her Instagram Stories, saying, "What a crossover to wake up to." Jr NTR added, "Music has no boundaries, and you proved it yet again, Ed! Hearing you sing 'Chuttamalle' in Telugu is truly special!"

This isn't Ed's first Indian collab. In Chennai, he jammed with the legendary AR Rahman on a mashup of 'Shape Of You' and 'Urvasi Urvasi'. And let's not forget his sitar session, where he played 'Shape of You' with sitar player Megha Rawoot.

Ed's India tour has been a rollercoaster. In Bengaluru, he tried an impromptu street performance, but the cops had to step in due to crowd control issues. Ed clarified, "It wasn’t just us randomly turning up. All good though."

This epic 'Chuttamalle' performance shows how music can bridge cultures and bring people together. It's a reminder that art knows no boundaries. Kudos to Ed and Shilpa for this beautiful blend of East and West!
