🔍 Panel Speakers are nowhere mentioned in the constitution. However, in the absence of the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, they preside over the House. Speakers of the panel are appointed by the speaker of the assembly on the first day of the session. 📅
👥 MLAs elect senior members as Speaker and Deputy Speakers of the Legislative Assembly. Similarly there will be appointment of panel speakers. Appointment of one to four senior members as panel speakers is at the discretion of the Speaker. In the absence of the Speaker and Deputy Speaker, the Panel Speakers preside over the Legislative Assembly. Senior members Revuri Prakash Reddy, Balu Naik, Kausar Mohiuddin and Koonanneni Sambasiva Rao have been appointed as panel speakers in Telangana Assembly. 👥
