📅 Applicability of pay scale from April 1, 2023, If we go into the details, according to the government orders, the pay scale will be applicable from April 1, 2023 to the employees working in Mepma and Serps. The State Government will apply pay scales which are close to the existing minimum wages.

Also, the existing minimum wage will be protected for the employees of Mepma. Current gross salary and other allowances of SERP employees will also be protected. Another thing is that even if the pay scale is applied, the employees of Serp and Mepma will continue to be employees of the register society in the same manner as before, the government said. It is clear that there will be no change in the job. But they cannot be treated as regularized as Government servants or merged into the Government. Also, the ESI and PF facilities for them will also remain unchanged. Henceforth, creation of regular/contract/outsourcing posts in Mepma should be done only after taking prior approval from the government, the order said.
