The resolution came a day before BRS had planned a massive public meeting protesting Congress government’s move to handover projects to KRMB.
At the time of the general elections, the waters of Krishna river are on fire in Telangana. BRS chief KCR took up the fight against handing over irrigation water projects to KRMB.
KCR himself will participate in the Chalo Nalgonda public meeting organized by the BRS party to criticize the handing over of Krishna river projects to KRMB. KCR is coming on public stage for the first time after Telangana assembly election results. The party is making arrangements to organize an open meeting to be held at 4 pm on Tuesday with around two lakh people.
All arrangements have already been completed for the BRS Sabha at Marriguda Bypass on the Narkatpally-Addanki Highway in the suburbs of Nalgonda town. Arrangements have been made to move party ranks, people and farmers from Nalgonda, Khammam, Mahabubnagar, Rangareddy and Hyderabad districts.
A stage was built to seat 300 people. Another stage has been prepared for cultural events. VIP and media galleries were built opposite the stage. Many galleries have been specially arranged for people to sit behind them. A helipad has been prepared next to the assembly premises.
After the defeat in the Telangana assembly elections, BRS chief KCR is entering the public meeting for the first time. BRS suffered a heavy defeat in Nalgonda district. So they prepared to look for the lost place.
KCR hopes that the Congress government's stance on handing over joint projects on the Krishna River to the Center should be cleared through an open meeting. KCR is taking place in the Nalgonda Assembly in the wake of the state government's resolution in the Assembly on Monday that projects will not be handed over to KRMB.
BRS lost power in Telangana assembly election results last year. The party which has been in power for ten years is currently limited to the role of opposition. Within a few days after the results came out, KCR underwent hip surgery on his leg and rested.
Although meetings are being held at home with party leaders, they have not come out in public so far. On February 1, KCR, who took oath as Gajwel MLA in the presence of the Speaker, met the party MLAs and other senior leaders at Telangana Bhavan on the same day.
He is not attending the meetings of the legislative assembly. There is interest in KCR's speech in Nalgonda Sabha. BRS sources say that the parliamentary election campaign is starting from Nalgonda. Along with KCR, all the main leaders of the party are going to participate in Nalgonda Sabha.
BRS is making arrangements to evacuate people from Nalgonda and other districts as well. Through Nalgonda Sabha, the party is trying to bring election enthusiasm in the cadre. Nalgonda Sabha has been secured by police department with 500 personnel. Former Minister Jagdish Reddy is monitoring the assembly arrangements along with former MLAs from the district.🚫💧
