What if the global music icon Michael Jackson had danced and sung in an Indian movie? That thought itself is mind-blowing! Efforts were indeed made to make this dream a reality, but the sudden demise of Michael Jackson left this dream unfulfilled. Renowned music composer A.R. Rahman revealed this in an interview.
A.R. Rahman shared, "After winning the Oscar for 'Slumdog Millionaire,' I met Michael Jackson in Los Angeles. He told me he loved the music of 'Slumdog Millionaire' and introduced me to his children. When I returned to India, I shared this meeting with director Shankar, who was then shooting 'Enthiran.'
Shankar asked me, 'Imagine how it would be if we could get Michael Jackson to sing a song for our movie. Is that even possible?' The very next day, I called Michael Jackson and told him about this. He said, 'Whatever you say, I'm ready to do. Let's work together.' But, just a few months later, Michael Jackson passed away. The Tamil song we were supposed to do together was left incomplete," Rahman revealed.
