The entire film world is eagerly awaiting the release of the much-anticipated movie "Kalki 2898 AD." This science fiction film, based on Indian mythology and spanning three worlds, is set to hit theaters in a few hours. The makers are constantly revealing new updates, further increasing the hype. The movie explores the incarnation of Kalki, who is said to appear at the end of Kaliyuga, and the story unfolds between three realms: Kashi, Complex, and Shambala.

Nag Ashwin, whose name is now resonating globally due to "Kalki 2898 AD," has made a significant mark with just three films. His journey began with "Yevade Subramanyam," continued with the critically acclaimed "Mahanati," and now he is ready to create another sensation at the box office with "Kalki."

Despite working on a film with a massive budget of ₹600 crores, Nag Ashwin remains humble and grounded. He is known for his simplicity and exceptional talent. From a young age, he was inclined towards writing stories and essays. In school, he wrote an article questioning the destruction of nature, for which he was scolded by the principal. Both his parents, Jayaram Reddy and Jayanti, are doctors. Nag Ashwin and actor Rana Daggubati were classmates and chose to pursue multimedia courses in Manipal instead of traditional engineering or medicine, mastering video editing.

Recognizing her son's passion for storytelling and filmmaking, Nag Ashwin's mother, Jayanti, encouraged him to work as an assistant director with Shekhar Kammula. During the making of "Godavari," Shekhar Kammula invited Nag Ashwin to join his next project. Meanwhile, Nag Ashwin worked on "Nenu Meeku Telusa," starring Manchu Manoj, earning his first salary of ₹4,000. He later worked on Shekhar Kammula's films "Leader" and "Life is Beautiful." Nag Ashwin mentioned that Shekhar Kammula appreciated his trailer cut for "Leader" and released it as is, teaching him the importance of a friendly work environment in filmmaking.

Now, from earning ₹4,000 as an assistant director to directing a ₹600 crore film, Nag Ashwin's journey is truly inspiring. "Kalki 2898 AD" features a stellar cast including Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, Shobana, Kamal Haasan, and Malavika Nair
