He asserted that the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) would not have a significant impact and predicted the primary battle would be between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress. According to Reddy, the BRS has effectively fallen into BJP's orbit and is conspiring internally to defeat the Congress.
"Every political party has joined one alliance or another, but in the Lok Sabha elections, the real contest is between BJP and Congress," Reddy stated. He further emphasized that in rural areas, while the BJP’s influence is minimal, the real competition is between BRS and Congress. He controversially mentioned that if he wished, six BRS MP candidates would not even be contenders.
