Flipkart, a leading name in digital commerce, has launched yet another service to enhance customer convenience—bus ticket booking. The e-commerce giant has partnered with various state transport corporations and private aggregators to offer this service. Initially, this facility is available in major cities like Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Delhi, Jaipur, Indore, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Chennai, aiming to expand its reach further.Flipkart has clarified that there will be no additional charges for booking bus tickets through their platform. They aim to provide ticketing services for over 25,000 routes and over a million buses across India. This new feature is in line with Flipkart's strategy to diversify its services, following the introduction of flight and hotel booking services. The bus ticket booking feature is currently available on both Android and iPhone versions of the Flipkart app, making it accessible to a vast majority of smartphone users.
