Here is an Exclusive Interview with Mekala Shanthi alias Shanthakka, w/o late Mekala Ram Gopal alias Punnam Nagulakonda of Janagama district, Who said that she took the path of the forest due to the influence of Gadara Songs when she was young. She worked as a member of the Nagulakonda force and there I married Mekala Ram Gopal alias Ponnam. She said that she participated in many attacks while working in Andhra Odisha Border.
