Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Jammu and Kashmir on February 20. On this occasion, he will do the foundation stone laying and inauguration ceremonies for many projects. The cost of all these projects is Rs.30,500 crores. This is Prime Minister Narendra Modi's second visit to Jammu and Kashmir after it became a Union Territory. The Prime Minister will dedicate this visit to the nation.
At this time, Prime Minister Modi is also going to inaugurate AIIMS built in Jammu. Modi laid the foundation stone of this hospital in February 2019. With the inauguration of AIIMS, the people of Leh Ladakh, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh along with Kashmir will not have to travel from place to place for treatment. Besides, PM Modi will also inaugurate the 48.1 km long Banihal-Sangaldan railway section. This rail section is an important part of the 272 km long Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla rail section connecting Kashmir with other parts of the country. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the people of the surrounding villages of Ramban district for this railway section. This will provide reliable transportation facility to the people of the region at low cost in every season.
13,375 crore worth of projects 🏗️🎓🏫
Apart from laying the foundation stones of many educational institutions to promote education across the country, he also started institutions built in other areas. In this, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for several projects worth around Rs.13,375 crore. Three new IIMs in the country i.e. IIM Jammu, IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Visakhapatnam will be started from Jammu. He will also inaugurate 20 new buildings for Kendriya Vidyalaya and 13 new Navodaya Vidyalaya buildings across the country. Apart from these, other institutions will also be started.
