As kids browse the internet, they might accidentally come across inappropriate content, which can negatively impact their mental well-being. To prevent this, here are some essential settings you can adjust on smartphones to ensure a safer browsing experience for your children. Let’s find out how to do it:
Change Phone Settings:
Go to your phone's Settings.
Search for Private DNS by typing 'Private DNS' in the search bar.
Select Private DNS and choose Create Private DNS.
In the setup DNS box, type family.adguard-dns.com and save it.
This will block all adult content on your child’s phone, preventing accidental exposure.
Google Kids Space:
Google Kids Space is an excellent tool to block adult content.
Go to your phone Settings and select Digital Wellbeing.
Choose Parental Control.
This will allow you to monitor and control your child’s online activity.
App Pinning Feature:
If your child needs to use only one app, you can use the App Pinning feature.
Go to Settings and select App Pinning.
This feature allows your child to use only the pinned app, providing a controlled environment.
