Russia's Focus on War Goals, Unfazed by US Politics 🇷🇺

Moscow: Russia has responded to the announcement of President Biden withdrawing from the US presidential race. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov emphasized that US politics is not their concern, and their primary focus remains on achieving their military objectives in Ukraine.

In a statement to the local media, Peskov said, "There are still four months left for the US elections. Many changes can happen during this time. We don’t need to think much about it. We will patiently observe what happens. However, Russia’s priority is to achieve the goals of its military operation in Ukraine." While Ukraine refers to Russia's actions as a "war," Russia maintains that it is a "special military operation." The US has strongly opposed Russia's war on Ukraine and has been supplying significant amounts of weapons to Ukraine.

This has led to tensions between Russia and the US. Former President Trump has indirectly stated multiple times that he would withdraw support from Ukraine if he comes back to power. It's noteworthy that Russia's response came just hours after Biden's announcement to withdraw from the race. Additionally, former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev expressed his wishes for Biden's good health via Telegram and reiterated that Russia's special military operation goals are set to be achieved.
