Star heroine Samantha is currently on a roll! While there aren't many Tollywood movies on her plate, she has shifted her focus to Bollywood and web series. Notably, Samantha is also acting in the Hollywood TV series "Citadel." Recently, she secured the 13th position in IMDb's 'Top 100 Most Viewed Indian Stars' list.
In a recent interview, Samantha expressed her joy over this achievement: "Securing the 13th spot on the IMDb list is a proud moment. It feels like a reward for my hard work. Sometimes it feels like I'm just starting my career. Time flies! I’m excited about the great opportunities coming my way and will continue to work even harder."
When asked about the competition with new heroines entering the industry, Samantha gave an interesting answer: "Competition is everywhere, and it's healthy. It pushes your thinking and motivates you to work harder. I see my fellow heroines as inspirations and their successes drive me to improve. I never see competition negatively."
Regarding her career, Samantha is currently acting in "Maa Inti Bangaram," a film she is also producing under her own banner, Tralalaa Moving Pictures. Last September, she starred in "Khushi" alongside Vijay Deverakonda. Though the film didn't fare well at the box office, it won the hearts of her fans. Samantha is also set to impress with the upcoming web series "Citadel," streaming soon on Amazon Prime.
