South Africa Defends 113 Runs Against Bangladesh 🏏🔥

The T20 World Cup 2024, being hosted in the West Indies and the USA, continues to deliver stunning performances! On Sunday, Team India defended a score of 119 against Pakistan, only for South Africa to break that record within 24 hours. On Monday, at New York, South Africa defended a meager total of 113 runs against Bangladesh, securing a thrilling 4-run victory.

Bangladesh, chasing 114, could only manage 109/7 in their 20 overs. The match was a nail-biter until the very end, with Bangladesh needing 6 runs off the final ball. Taskin Ahmed, at the crease, could only score 1 run, sealing South Africa’s historic win. Heinrich Klaasen, with a crucial 46 runs, was named the 'Player of the Match'. This victory marks South Africa as the team with the lowest defended score in T20 World Cup history. Following them are India (119) and New Zealand (119).
