Sudden Showers in Telugu States Bring Respite from Scorching Heat!


Good news for the people of the Telugu states! The weather took a sudden turn, bringing much-needed relief across several districts. In the unified Warangal district, rains graced several areas, while Jangaon and Mulugu experienced a fierce bout of hailstorms. Tragically, two farmers, Bullayya from Eturu Nagaram and Ajay from Koduru, lost their lives due to lightning strikes. A calf also perished in the village of Koduru in Raghunathpalli Mandal.

Meanwhile, in Andhra Pradesh, the skies opened up in several regions. The last few days have seen a shift in the weather in the Chittoor district, with heavy rains drenching Tirumala, turning the streets into rivers. Pilgrims visiting for darshan faced some inconvenience due to the downpour. As people suffered under record-breaking temperatures, the Meteorological Department delivered some good news, predicting rains in the state over the next three days.

Today, the departments have indicated chances of rain in the districts of Srikakulam, Manyam, Alluri, Sri Sathya Sai, Kadapa, and Annamayya. Light to moderate showers, occasionally accompanied by thunder, are expected in these areas. A similar forecast is issued for Telangana, where light to moderate rains are expected to start from today, according to the Hyderabad Weather Center.

Particularly in the districts of Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Nalgonda, Khammam, Suryapet, Mahbubabad, Rangareddy, Jangaon, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, and Nagar Kurnool, there is a good chance of rains. The weather department also warned of thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds reaching speeds of 30-40 km/h.
