Kollywood actor Daniel Balaji passed away. He died of a heart attack in the middle of the night on March 29. He fell ill with chest pain in the middle of the night on Friday and was immediately taken to a private hospital in Chennai by his family members. Doctors revealed that he died before reaching the hospital. Daniel Balaji's sudden death at the age of 48 has left the film industry in deep grief. Tuck Jagadish acted as the main villain in the movie starring natural star Nani. It was his last film in Telugu. Although he did few films in the Tollywood industry, he gained recognition with his acting.

He impressed the fans by acting in Kaka and Fradhu Fradu directed by Gautham Menon. After that he acted in negative roles in many movies. Daniel Balaji is the sister's son of famous director and producer Siddalingaiah. Balaji, who completed his directing course at Taramani Film Institute, Chennai, acted in television serials.
