The Union Budget has given significant importance to women, focusing on employment, skill development, MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises), and the middle class. The government aims to benefit 4.1 crore youth by focusing on these four key sectors. The minister announced that ā¹2 lakh crore will be allocated to these sectors in the coming days. Additionally, around 30 lakh young people entering the job market will receive one month of provident fund support.
Due to the new budget, gold and silver prices in the country are expected to decrease. Smartphone prices are also set to drop, as the government has decided to reduce the customs duty on cell phones by 15%. Furthermore, taxes on leather products will be lowered. The government has also decided to remove GST on three cancer drugs and reduce GST on X-ray machines. Custom duties on 25 essential minerals and solar products will also be reduced. This year's Union Budget is presented with a total allocation of ā¹32.07 lakh crore.
